A friend introduced me to the “Nort Woods” of Wisconsin (Wisconsinites drop the “h”) several years ago. He had built an A frame log home about 30 years ago and since relocating to Florida, it is now his summer home. It is set in the Nicolet National Forest on Butternut Lake. This project is a Pam original design from the start. Each log has been sized and cut by hand to fit. Both trees and each fallen leaf are cut and created by hand. The foliage used here was actually taken from the Nicolet and from Butternut. The critters include those I’ve witnessed while vacationing at one time or another. The backdrop is an actual photo of his driveway leading up to the house. A true vacation get away.
